NICT Basic Computer Course

Introduction:- This Course is designed to familiarize students with computers and their applications. It will also emphasize the use of computers and technology throughout their high school, college, and future careers. Students will learn fundamental concepts of computer hardware and software and become familiar with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, Excel, Power Point and multimedia presentations. Students will also investigate Internet-based applications, working with email and learning how to browse the web. Course work also includes activities that explore social and ethical issues related to computers.

Eligibility: The candidates can appear in the NICT Basic Computer Courses , who have basic English knowledge and passed at least 10th & its equivalent standard.

Duration: The total duration of the course is 80 hours.

4.   Working with Power Point

5.  MS Dos

6.   Access

7.  Internet Concept

8. Local Area Network

Examination :- Dates for the various activities connected with examinations will be announced on NICT website, well in advance of the examinations.

Pass Percentage :- To qualify for a pass in a module, a candidate must have obtained at least 50% in each theory and practical examination.

The marks will be translated into grades, while communicating results to the candidates. The gradation structure is as below:-
